Ground rules for the Researches/Reviewers

To upload videos, scientists and reviewers must adhere to the following ground rules of JSK::

    1. **VIDEO STAMP (THUMBNAIL):** The video stamp can be created using available online software (e.g., Pixellab). The required ratio for the video stamp is 16:9, in landscape format only.

The video stamp should include the following details:

      • Title of the research work
      • Name of the department
      • Affiliations
      • Address of the institutions (font: Verdana, Bold)
      • Group photo of researchers/reviewers
      • Images depicting the principles of the research work or any relevant  images of the research performed (no ghost authors allowed).

    1. **VIDEOS:** The experimental components of the research should be filmed during the execution of the experiments(WITH GPS MODE), while the results and discussions should be presented in an e-presentation format. All individuals featured in the video will be recognized as scientists involved in the work.

    2. *TOTAL DURATION OF THE VIDEO:**
      • The total duration should not exceed 20 minutes.
      • Videos must be in landscape format with a 16:9 ratio and a maximum file size of 500 MB.
      • The recorded videos should be uploaded in one of the accepted formats

**HOW TO UPLOAD:

A SIMPLE GUIDE TO SUBMITTING YOUR RESEARCH OR REVIEW WORK

**STEP 1:** Register your name on JSK (https://www.JSciKnow.com).

**STEP 2:** After registration, use your credentials to log in to JSK.

**STEP 3:** Locate the “Upload Video” option at the top right corner, just below the username icon, and click on it.

**STEP 4:** The website will direct you to the upload page.

**STEP 5:** Upload your video file according to the specifications provided in the submission guidelines.

**STEP 6:** Drag and drop your research videos or browse to upload them (refer to the allowed formats in the guidelines).

**STEP 7:** Enter the title of your research work.

**STEP 8:** Provide a brief description of your work (an abstract of your research or review).

**STEP 9:** Select a category that corresponds to your field.

**STEP 10:** Fill in the tag box with relevant keywords using the format #keyword (e.g., #jsk, #research).

**STEP 11:** Indicate whether you have received Ethical Committee approval and provide the necessary details.

**STEP 12:** Select the appropriate details regarding any financial support received.

**STEP 13:** Read through the declarations and assurances carefully, then check the box to indicate your agreement. Once all details are completed, kindly click the “Submit” button. You can also upload videos through the app by downloading it from the Google Play Store. Once your video is uploaded, it will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and saved in the respective user’s dashboard. If the reviewers approve your research work, it will be published for public access.

**PLEASE NOTE:** A comment box is available for feedback on your research work, which can be beneficial for your future projects. Each video will be assigned a unique ID, and the link can be shared with colleagues and friends for viewing. Currently, access is open to everyone.
